Our Mission

OUR MISSION

To provide funding to support education opportunities to teachers of English language learners & to inform the general public about the strengths and needs of these students.

IMMEDIATE GOALS

We want to continue to provide recognition for ESL teachers, study groups, teacher training, and conference speakers for the coming year.

OUR TRAINING

Our training includes an annual intensive summer study for all levels of ESL teachers who want to dive into diversity, equity, and inclusion for their classes.

We also host a K-12 Study Group set up as a memorial to Joseph O'Loughlin, who spent many hours supporting his wife, Judy.  Judy is a past Board member and has led the first year of this group of four ESL teachers.

OUR SUPPORT

Our foundation supports attendance for part-time teachers to attend and present at professional CATESOL conferences.

We also provide the cost of keynote speakers at annual and regional conferences for English as a Second Language (ESL) instructors and graduate students.

We recognize teachers with monetary grants and awards to assist them in pioneering classroom technology and curriculum.

We Need Your Support Today!
